Look, Roll & Answer is a truly fun game. All you need to play it is dice and a timer. A student looks at one of the cards for 10 seconds. Then, they roll the dice and get a question which they need to answer. One pip means question 1 and so on.
Look, Roll & Answer
The game consists of 52 cards with pictures and 52 cards with questions. All the cards are numbered and ready to print. Have a look at the pictures below:
Detailed Info on Look, Roll & Answer
Some of the questions are about the details shown in the pictures, some ask about your students’ opinions and others refer to your students’ experiences and everyday life. As far as the two latter types of the questions go, there are no wrong or right answers. All in all, the game’s goal is to get your students to practise grammar, revise and learn new vocabulary as well as to practise speaking.
So far I’ve used the cards with my students at the age of 11. They really enjoyed the whole experience and most of them didn’t even realise that they were learning. I divided the class into 4 groups of 5 students. I printed out five sets of the cards. Each group got 52 cards and the kids took turns at rolling the dice and answering the questions.
One more thing, I advise printing the cards on thick paper.
You can download 12 of the cards for free to test them out. Just click here.
I hope you see the game’s potential and decide to buy it for only $1. If you do, you’ll receive a pdf version of the cards within 8 hours although it takes this long only when I sleep at night 🙂 More often than not, I send all the resources I sell within 1 hour or less.
IMPORTANT! An email from me might end up in your spam folder so make sure to check it too.
