I’ve just finished working on my latest resource which is a Cut and Paste Picture Dictionary. The dictionary can be used to help your students memorise the meanings and spelling of a lot of words. Have a look below to find out more.
Cut and Paste Picture Dictionary
The dictionary consists of 72 pages and is divided into thematic sections. Each page contains four words with four pictures to colour. There’s also a simple sentence with the taught word under each picture and a line where your students can trace the words. The great thing about the dictionary is that there’s a cut and paste exercise for each word as well. Here’s a photo of one of the pages:
The letters for the cut and paste exercises can be found at the end of the dictionary. What’s more, there are also six pages which your students can use to add their own words. Have a look below:
The Cut and Paste Picture Dictionary focuses on words up to 7 letters and it can be used to teach the following vocabulary:
farm animals, school equipment, names of toys, vocabulary for describing the weather, food names, names of wild animals, fruit, actions, vegetables, names of bugs and insects, family members, body parts, things in every household, feelings and moods, names of clothes, basic prepositions, names of jobs, places in town, vocabulary connected to nature and the names of the four seasons.
I’m going to use the dictionary with my 7-year-old students who have problems learning new vocabulary 🙂
You can download 10 pages from the dictionary for free to test them out. To get the free section of the dictionary, click here.
I hope you see the dictionary’s potential and decide to buy it for $1.30. If you do, you’ll receive a pdf version of the cards within 8 hours although it takes this long only when I sleep at night 🙂 More often than not, I send all the resources I sell within 1 hour or less.
IMPORTANT! An email from me might end up in your spam folder so make sure to check it too.
