Professor Ladybug offers a lot of fantastic freebies for teachers. The best part is that the team from Professor Ladybug create new freebies every day.
The teaching resources created by Professor Ladybug range from clip art, handouts and games to worksheets and workbooks. The resources can be used to teach letters of the alphabet, numbers, colours, shapes and much more.
All the resources are suited for young students and Professor Ladybug undoubtedly makes the learning process both easy and fun.
My personal favourite resource is the one teaching animals, colours and shapes. You can have a look at one of the worksheets below.
Professor Ladybug for ESL/EFL teachers
I’ve used Professor Ladybug’s resources in my ESL classroom too. My students love colouring, cutting and pasting exercises. The freebies are that and more. You can definitely use them without any modifications and be certain that they’ll still fit the needs of your ESL students. For example, the shape worksheet above can be also used to teach colours, numbers and the names of shapes to ESL students.
I’ve also used this Count by 10 Number Cut-Out to teach numbers in a fun an innovative way. My students had a blast tracing, cutting out and pasting the numbers in the right places. In addition, working on the worksheet gave them a lot of practice and made it possible for them to master the pronunciation of the numbers. Here’s the freebie I’m referring to:
Finally, I really love the Halloween freebie. Obviously, I haven’t used this one yet but having downloaded it, I’m sure I will. Here it is:
As you san see this one is very colourful and full of fantastic clip art. I bet my students will work on it with pleasure.
I hope you’re as optimistic about Professor Ladybug as I am. You can visit Professor Ladybug’s website by clicking here and her TpT account by clicking here. Have a great week everyone and let’s enjoy teaching!
