This time I’ve created 150 Present Continuous Cards. The cards include 5 different types of cards aiming at revising present continuous. I hope you like this new teaching resource just as much as you did my 150 Present Simple Cards.
Present Continuous Cards
There are 30 cards of each type and all of them contain colourful pictures and backgrounds.
The first type of the cards can be used to practise short answers and includes questions with ‘is’ and ‘are’. There are no questions of this type with ‘am’ because these wouldn’t really work here. Questions such as ‘Am I feeling fine?’ seem a bit odd. Here are some of the cards from the first category:
The next group of cards contains wh- questions. There are also questions with ‘how’.
Next, we have cards with multiple-choice sentences. There are always four answers but only one of them is correct. Some of the answers are very similar which makes the task a bit challenging and way more rewarding.
The next 30 cards show sentences with gaps that need to be completed by your students.
Last but not least, we have speaking cards entitled ‘Time to talk!’. Each card contains a short description of a situation and three or four questions.
As you can see, I tried to make the situations as entertaining as possible. Hopefully, your students will have fun answering all of the questions.
You can download 30 of the cards for free to test them out. Just click here. I hope you like the cards and decide to buy them for only $1.25. To do that, click the PayPal button below.
In both cases you’ll receive a pdf version of the cards within 8 hours although it takes this long only when I sleep at night 🙂 More often than not, I send all the resources I sell within 1 hour or less.
IMPORTANT! An email from me might end up in your spam folder so make sure to check it too.
I’d like to thank you all for appreciating my hard work. After publishing the post featuring my 150 Present Simple Cards, I got a lot of positive feedback and constructive criticism. I sincerely hope you like these cards just as much. Thank you so much and please visit englishteacherscorner.com again soon.
