Short Adjectives: Comparatives and Superlatives 🙂
I’ve just created 180 cards which can be used to teach comparative and superlative forms of the so-called short adjectives. If your students need more practice or if you’re looking for a complete teaching resource to help them understand comparative and superlative forms of adjectives, these cards may be exactly what you need.
Short Adjectives: Comparatives and Superlatives
All of the cards are very colourful and they all contain equally colourful images that will hopefully make using the cards more enjoyable. This time I’ve created four different types of cards.
The first group consists of cards with multiple-choice sentences. You can see the cards below:
There are 60 cards of this type in the pack.
This next type of cards includes 60 cards too. These cards, however, contain sentences with gaps. Have a look below:
The next cards are cards with pictures. Students’ task is to look at the cards, think for a second and compare the objects/people in the pictures. So you should hear sentences like ‘Dogs are stronger than cats.’, ‘The balloon is flying lower than the plane.’, The motorbike is the fastest of the three vehicles!’ or ‘The black and yellow fish aren’t as big as the shark’.
There are 30 cards of this type.
The final type of cards are cards containing questions with comparatives and superlatives. These questions are followed by more detailed questions so that your students get to practise both comparative and superlative forms of short adjectives as well as speaking. The pack includes 30 cards of this kind.
One more thing, the cards also teach the comparative and superlative forms of ‘good’ and ‘bad’. Additionally, the cards can be used to practise the expression as…as.
You can download 24 of the cards for free. Just click here. I hope you see the resource’s potential and decide to buy them for only $1.40. To do that, click the PayPal button below.
You can also buy the cards in a bundle together with my 180 Long Adjectives Cards: Comparatives and Superlatives at a reduced price of $2.20. To do that, click here.
In both cases you’ll receive a pdf version of the cards within 8 hours although it takes this long only when I sleep at night 🙂 More often than not, I send all the resources I sell within 1 hour or less.
IMPORTANT! An email from me might end up in your spam folder so make sure to check it too.
I’d like to thank you all for appreciating my hard work. After publishing the post featuring my 150 Present Simple Cards, I got a lot of positive feedback and constructive criticism. I sincerely hope you like these cards just as much. Thank you so much and please visit englishteacherscorner.com again soon.
